Rich Bennett is the Vice President of Marketing & Strategy for Focus on the Family, which includes responsibilities for strategic planning, family research, promoting its initiatives and programs, and forming alliances with other organizations. Prior to this role, he provided leadership for Focus’ youth and adult ministries.Rich has appeared on national and local radio interviews on topics ranging from parenting and family media safety to ministry partnerships, and he’s written for a variety of newspapers and magazines. He started his career as a sports writer, loves following college basketball (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!) and major league baseball and is a long-suffering Cubs and Royals fan.In his free time, he‘s active in children’s ministry at his Colorado Springs church, and serves on the board for Life Network. He and his wife, Stephanie, will celebrate two decades of marriage in 2014. They have two kids they enjoy immensely – 14-year old son, Parker; and 11-year-old daughter, Macy.
